Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for the assistance TravelHub provides, and how carrier ticket refunds are handled. Airline tickets are governed by the issuing carrier's fare rules, which we do not control.

Our Service Fee

Before ticketing: if you cancel before the ticket is issued, our service fee is refunded in full.
After ticketing: once a ticket has been issued, our service fee is generally non-refundable, because the work of securing and confirming the reservation is complete.
Our error: if we made a mistake on your booking, we correct it or refund our fee — your choice.

Airfare Refunds

Refund eligibility for the ticket itself depends on the fare rules of the carrier that issued it:

Refundable fares: may be refunded in full or in part under the carrier's rules, often less a cancellation penalty.
Non-refundable fares: most discounted economy tickets fall here. You may receive a travel credit instead, subject to change fees and any fare difference.
Carrier-initiated changes: if the airline cancels or substantially changes your flight, you may be entitled to a full refund or rebooking at no additional cost. In that case our service fee is refunded as well.
No-shows: missing a flight without cancelling first generally forfeits the ticket value, per the carrier's rules.

How to Request a Refund

Call (866) 340-0354 with your booking reference. We review the request against the applicable fare rules, tell you what is recoverable, and submit it on your behalf where the carrier permits.

Processing Times

Our service fee refunds: 7–10 business days back to the original payment method
Carrier airfare refunds: typically 4–8 weeks, set by the airline's own processing schedule

Exceptions

We review requests involving medical emergencies, bereavement, or declared natural disasters on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation is usually required, and the carrier's own compassionate fare rules still apply.
